    10. By providing the personal information on the application form you are agreeing to Dr Heather Sequeira and associate organisations processing and holding your information.  The e-mail address the delegate has provided may be used by Dr Heather Sequeira to communicate matters relating to current and future workshops.

    11. Level of Competence Required: Different workshops have different competency requirements. Please note these and discuss your level of competency and qualification with us if you are unsure. Apart from any preliminary level workshops,  workshops are directed to trained mental health practitioners who are familiar with the fundamental principles of CBT.  Some practitioners will have intermediate or advanced level skills in (although this is not a pre-requisite for attendance). CBT knowledge and skills are not required for the preliminary level workshops.

    12. Attendees are required to have a membership of a Mental Health Professional and or Regulatory Body or be in training for a recognised mental health qualification (for specific exceptions see point 14).

    13. Whether workshop attendees can work clinically with clients after completion of this workshop will depend on their professional qualifications and only under the supervision of a BABCP Cognitive Behavioural therapist or HPCP Registered psychologist who is competent to practice CBT. It is the delegates supervisor who confirms that they are competent to practice in any specific area. Attendance of this workshop aims to facilitate skills and knowledge in this area but cannot confirm that a person is competent to practice.  Although highly informative, none of workshops confer a formal qualification or assurance of competence in any aspect of psychological therapy since we are unable to assess attendee competency within the training event.

    14. In specific circumstances that have been discussed directly with Dr Heather Sequeira, PhD students, psychology graduates or other individuals without appropriate professional qualification or professional background can attend for "research interest purposes only". You will need to discuss this with me before booking and understand that this workshop will not prepare you to work clinically with clients.

    15. Photography & Recording consent for adults: The delegate acknowledges that on occasions Heather Sequeira and staff may record images and audio content of events and take photography. Images and audio may be used on websites, on social media or in another public forum for promotional purposes. The delegate agrees that such material may be reproduced for those purposes. The delegate must inform Dr Heather Sequeira in writing if they do not want to be shown in these images or audio recordings.
    16. Respect of Confidential Material; Workshops contain clinical material. This is always anonymised but delegates are none the less reminded to respect confidentiality and to anonymise any clinical material that they bring to the workshops.
    17. Safeguarding and limits of confidentiality: Just as in therapy sessions, workshop sessions will be treated as confidential, with the following exceptions. As a Chartered and Registered Psychologist I am required to seek supervision by my professional body (The British Psychological Society) and regulatory body (HPCP) as a means of ensuring good practice. I have a statutory obligation to break confidentiality under rare circumstances, namely, if I believe that a person is of danger to themselves or to others (under the Mental Health Act, 2001) or if I believe that a child is at actual risk of physical or sexual abuse (The Children Act, Section 47, 1989).
    18. The booking serves as a contract between the purchaser and Dr Heather Sequeira.
